When To Find a New Web Host

You can make money online without a web site. However, if you want a sustainable business that delivers regular deposits to your bank account a domain is a necessity.

That’s particularly true for niche and affiliate marketers. They need landing pages for offers. A well put together site trumps simple landing pages. That’s my opinion. Others may have a different take on the subject.

So, having one or more domains means securing a reliable host. HostGator is my choice for solid hosting services.

Most of us sign up with a web host and don’t think about it after that. In an ideal world that would be the way to go. We do not live and work in an ideal world.

I usually do an internal audit of my service providers every couple of months. I do this sometimes sooner. If clicks or sales drop off I check my engine carefully. Q1 of this year is approaching. I’m setting aside a day to perform diagnostics on my sales systems. Routine auditing of my service providers is a necessity. That’s not a nice-to-do-sometime-task.

My livelihood’s at risk here. The downside is losing sales. It’s worse losing long time customers. And it’s difficult to repair damage to my reputation. The upside is keeping things humming. During audit I often make improvements to funnels.

Let’s look at web hosts and how to tell when is it time to make a change. Too many stay with suppliers too long. This can be exceptionally harming to your site and online presence.

Here are ten signs it’s best for you to change your web host. Your site will benefit and your business will prosper.

How to Target High-Income Buyers With AdWords

The marketing days of “toss it against the wall & see if anything sticks” are long, long gone. I understood the value of targeting my audience several decades ago when handling marketing and promotion for an NBA team then the Harlem Globetrotters.

The NBA then was not the dominant pro sports force it is today. Sellout crowds were rare and season ticket sales even more rare. College basketball was often a bigger draw than the NBA. And where NBA teams shared a market with a minor league ice hockey team the skaters usually drew bigger crowds.

My success came when I understood how to target my NBA audience in a market with pro football, major league baseball and a minor league hockey team – all with Division 1 college teams in our drawing area.

What I learned in my two NBA seasons played well when hired by the Harlem Globetrotters to bring needed skills to that venerable enterprise. Our tools then were rudimentary, but the basics haven’t changed much over time.

4 Things To Give Up For Success

if-you-can-dream-it-you-can-do-it-walt-disney

Take a moment and think about where you are. Not the street you are on. Think about where you are in life.

How does where you are match with where you wanted to be? I think about this often. It is especially important to me as the year winds down.

What were my plans last January? Am I where I planned to be? Did I achieve what I intended? If not, why not?

You have to give up what you are to be all you can be. That’s just common sense. Most people you value made many changes in their lives. The important changes were internal. They changed attitudes. They changed how life affected them. They determined the person they wanted to be and became that person.

Everyone has the ability to change. The question is, “What about me do I have to change?”

You Can Make Money Online

make money online

“You can make money online.”

Understand that.

Believe it.

Repeat before you fall asleep: “I can make money on the Internet.”

Make that your mantra.

There are many people from all walks of life searching for ways to make more money.  The Internet is full of opportunities. Search for jobs or work at home possibilities and what comes up is usually a lot of hype!

Many offers sell “The Dream”. The Dream is telling you how you can make bazillion bucks while you sleep. Some top earners make millions on the Internet. They show you bank account records and sales records to prove what they do is real. But many selling the dream don’t actually make much money at all.

Now, there are a handful of people – I know many of them – that are Internet millionaires. These folks tell you the truth. They make money selling what they know, often teaching others how to make money online. Many develop products valuable to us working online.

What separates them from you is:

5 Ways To Build Customer Loyalty

How To Keep The Customer - canstockphoto14935677 The Purpose of Business is . . . .

In 2001 Harvard Business Review asked business gurus who their favorite gurus were and Peter Drucker was in the top 3. You don’t need an MBA or business background to appreciate Drucker’s take on business. His simple approach is this, “The purpose of business is to create customers.”

That means developing customer loyalty. A customer is not a one-time buyer. A customer is a repeat purchaser of products and services.
