7 Steps to Mastering Internet Traffic

thumbs up - down

Are there really “Secrets” to mastering Internet traffic?

You bet there are. Without them Internet money-making rock stars would be just like the rest of us . . . trying to make a few bucks online.

How did these ‘rock stars’ learn these secrets?

The same way Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. They experimented. Top earners are self taught. They are the pioneers blazing paths to solid Internet incomes.

My advice to the rest of us is: Buy a training course! Get one taught by an Internet top earner. The top earners make $1,000,000+ every year. Some make much, much more that one million a year. They are the 1% of the 3% of people making money online.

If you want to make money online do you want to learn from some schmo you never heard of or do you want to learn from the folks paid gobs of money to do one-day workshops around the world? Do you know some of these people charge up to $25,000 for just ONE HOUR of private consultation?

One hour of their time is worth more than most of us make online in a year! And skeptics deride sales videos showing them riding around in $100,000 cars. Or vacationing at luxury resorts. Or living in multi-million dollar homes.

Here’s another secret: those fancy cars are often prizes for high sales of one product or another. Those photos at luxury resorts are often taken at events these top earners are paid to attend. Yep, when you make lots of money people give you things. How about that?

Hot-Hot-Hot Videos

online video Online videos are extremely hot online sales tools. This post introduces 13 sites for sharing your videos.

Did you know YouTube is the 2nd most used Internet search engine after Google. And YouTube is owned by Google.

The smallest of businesses and online marketers can become huge money makers with proper use of video. Online videos effectively grab attention for product sales and explaining ‘how-to’ on a variety of subjects. Text search information is great, but there’s nothing like seeing step-by-step instructions for installing software, or constructing a camp stove from discarded items.

Videos online shot and posted by average people like us celebrate life cycle events.  They take us on exciting adventures. Some introduce viewers to new and exciting ways to enrich ordinary lives. Today virtually everyone can be a successful online movie producer. That means you can promote your online business, sell your products, and establish your credibility easily via uploaded video.

A key is don’t be boring! When you are original and creative there is no telling how often your video will be shared and go viral. Remember that young international music superstar Justin Bieber jump-started his career when an unknown Canadian lad posting self-produced music videos.

I use my smartphone for videos. However I probably will get a Go-Pro pretty soon, starting with the basic model then moving up.

15 Tools to Curate Content for Social Media, Newsletters, More

Ever since I began curating content and sharing it on social media my followers have nearly doubled. Content curation is a simple and keep calm and curate easy method of providing your customers what they need for success.

It is nothing new. In fact, content curation has been around as long as Reader’s Digest began publishing nearly a hundred years ago. A great example of successful content curation today is DrudgeReport.com.

Matt Drudge rarely writes anything. His skill is headlines written for articles curated from news sites around the world. He posts those attention grabbing headlines linked to full news stories. That’s it. A bare bones, 3-column page with an ad and teaser copy at the top and lists of headlines followed by links to writers and news sites by name.

That simple easy-to-overlook site is one of the most visited on the web. And it generates $20,000,000 or more in annual revenue.

I urge you to consider curating content for your readers. This post is an example of content curation. Following is a list of tools compiled by Sig Ueland that I grabbed off a web site and present on my blog for your benefit. – Joe Aro

Starting Your Online Business Part #1

I  encourage people to start an online business. In today’s economy we all need a fall-back plan. Jobs are harder to come by and I believe the national economy is heading for another downturn more dramatic than that of 2008.

An online business can provide additional income for your family. It may be a portal to full-time income giving you the freedom many others enjoy. I enjoy the DotComLifestyle. . . working from anywhere I can get an Internet connection. I work the hours I choose and I am my own boss.

Yet, an online business is just  that . . . a business. There are things to consider before plunging into the world  you see (often attached to Internet scams) where pretty people lounge on large yachts, drive expensive cars, live in mansion-like houses, and travel the world.

Today’s Business Marketing Tools

Successfully marketing your business today means you cannot rely on tired, busin Pong ess as usual techniques and strategies that brought you to where you are.

Somewhere along the way I coined the phrase, “Do not Pong it!”, meaning – do not get bogged down with old stuff people do not remember, and do not use obscure references and examples. Too many prospects simply do not relate to things only important to our personal experience.
