9 Free Tools I Cannot Do Without

There’s nothing quite like getting something you want, need, or can make good use of. That’s especially true when the item is free, absolutely free.

I mean no out-of-pocket cost. Nada bucks. It costs you nothing. That’s free. You don’t have to sit through a boring, lengthy webinar. Or give up your email address and go through numerous up-sell pages. Free is best when you go to a website and get the goods.

Well, here’s my gift to you today. These free tools serve me well. They are useful and I use them often. You can upgrade to paid versions if you wish. I’ve done that when absolutely necessary. Otherwise I go with the free version. Click on the name and go directly to the web site.

Can You Actually Make Money While Sleeping?

You can make money while you sleep.

Sure, you can make money online while you sleep. Many of us do. However, you will not do that immediately by buying some big-promise money-making software or signing up to a money-making program.

Either of those things usually make money only for the people selling them.

Those who make money while sleeping have built businesses that generate income over different time zones all hours of the day. They are affiliate marketers, usually. That’s the easiest method for getting into an Internet business.

EASY TRAINING TO INCREASE SALES REVENUE

 

It’s easy to get your sales people beyond product bullet points.  Here’s a simple method I used when Director of Marketing and Sales at a networking division of a major aerospace company.

When creating a telemarketing center with out call people very skilled in selling by phone we quickly learned, the sales prompt sheets did not cover information the customer wanted.  Many businesses fall prey to this trap.  That is telling the customer what we think is important rather than share what the customer wants to know.

Never forget: Traffic is the fuel running your Internet business engine.

Your primary business goal is to create customers. I should say ‘create repeat customers’.  That is how you build a business paying you week after week, month after month, year after year. The key to selling online is traffic. Twitter ads generate good traffic and should be part of your marketing mix.

Anyone can sell something online. I have a revenue stream selling on Amazon and eBay. You can sell something online easily. Try it today. Look around your home or apartment for something of value that you no longer need. Put it on Craig’s List and I bet you sell it in a few days.

I mention Craig’s list because that is the easiest method. Run your ad. Then buyers contact you.  You meet and exchange the item for cash. No checks, please. Cash only.  

Although I and others make money selling on Amazon and other e-commerce sites, my sustainable business takes another direction. However, the process is similar.

In all my Internet businesses I seek to optimize and automate the processes. I use Buffer, a free utility, to post many times a day on social media. That’s automation.

12 Ways To Clear Out Business Clutter

 

Memorial Day each year the Indianapolis Speedway track announcer says, “Gentlemen, start your engines” to begin the famed Indy 500 motor race. Of course when female drivers are in the race the call is “Ladies and Gentlemen.”

I want you to use those words and get focused on business. Make Memorial Day when you restart your business engine. Clean out your business closet. Get rid of stuff you do not use. Cut the clutter impacting your success.

Springtime is when many of us lose the zest of our New Year energy and commitment. We don’t mean to. It just happens.

Weather draws us outdoors. For many vacation and recreation planning take center stage. Change of season can make it difficult to focus on business as we should.

So, let’s refocus today and take care of holdover tasks we keep putting aside.
