3 Types of Twitter Ads Getting Blog Traffic

Twitter

Never forget: Traffic is the fuel running your Internet business engine.

Your primary business goal is to create customers. I should say ‘create repeat customers’.  That is how you build a business paying you week after week, month after month, year after year. The key to selling online is traffic. Twitter ads generate good traffic and should be part of your marketing mix.

Anyone can sell something online. I have a revenue stream selling on Amazon and eBay. You can sell something online easily. Try it today. Look around your home or apartment for something of value that you no longer need. Put it on Craig’s List and I bet you sell it in a few days.

I mention Craig’s list because that is the easiest method. Run your ad. Then buyers contact you.  You meet and exchange the item for cash. No checks, please. Cash only.

Although I and others make money selling on Amazon and other e-commerce sites, my sustainable business takes another direction. However, the process is similar.

In all my Internet businesses I seek to optimize and automate the processes. I use Buffer, a free utility, to post many times a day on social media. That’s automation.

12 Ways To Clear Out Business Clutter

Memorial Day each year the Indianapolis Speedway track announcer says, “Gentlemen, start your engines” to begin the famed Indy 500 motor race. Of course when female drivers are in the race the call is “Ladies and Gentlemen.”

I want you to use those words and get focused on business. Make Memorial Day when you restart your business engine. Clean out your business closet. Get rid of stuff you do not use. Cut the clutter impacting your success.

Springtime is when many of us lose the zest of our New Year energy and commitment. We don’t mean to. It just happens.

Weather draws us outdoors. For many vacation and recreation planning take center stage. Change of season can make it difficult to focus on business as we should.

So, let’s refocus today and take care of holdover tasks we keep putting aside.

You Are Going To Fail Unless . . .

Don’t let failure get you down.

Don’t get discouraged when starting affiliate marketing. Usually the first things you try will fail. They are a learning experience. Do not give up.

Thomas Edison famously failed 10,000 times trying to invent a working lightbulb. He looked at it this way, “I learned 10,000 ways how not to do it”.

Think of starting an affiliate site like learning a sport. You are going to be somewhat terrible at the beginning. Whether you try skiing, or golf, or skeet shooting, or playing the violin . . . you are not going to be Olympic quality at the beginning.

There are no naturals in anything. Some of us may learn faster or understand nuances easier. Some of us may progress more quickly than others. But we all have to learn.

15 Free Online Courses for Entrepreneurs

I often recommend not spending money when preparing to start a first-time online business. That’s because without knowing exactly what this Internet entrepreneur adventure involves, one can spend a lot of resources without getting off on proper footing.

Although there are many programs I recommend and some I sell, my advice to investigate fully how to start an online business before committing financially is a good starting point.

Below is a list compiled by Sig Ueland for free courses that may help you understand how best to start your online business.

After checking out these courses I suggest that you sign up for delivery of my free information that will help you start and run your Internet business. Sign up for direct delivery of my blog posts. It is also a good idea to follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Although I encourage all newbies to learn a bit before buying,  you must understand all business ventures require some financial investment. Nothing is totally free. At a minimum you’re going to need a desktop or laptop PC, and an Internet connection.

If you want a website you will pay to register a domain URL and select a host for your site. Along the way you’ll probably want to pick up software programs allowing you to properly make your offer to the public. There may be some advertising involved, too.

My point is you will have to invest in your business at one time or another. There are shortcuts, of course. Learning them often involves buying training programs or attending live events.

Working online is very rewarding – bringing greater income than you usually can make at a job. Don’t get me wrong. Not everyone makes great amounts of money like some Internet rock stars describe promoting their ‘systems’ and offers.

Sure, there are many 7-figure earners around. I know several of them. What you need to know is having your own Internet business gives you financial freedom and control over your life. You report only to yourself, working when you want, where you want, and for how long – from anywhere you have an Internet connection.

Whether you’re a newbie, fledgling, or somewhat established Internet entrepreneur you are well ahead of those doing nothing to better their lives. Your first step on the road to digital success puts you ahead of those not trying. Each day brings you closer to life changing return for your efforts.

Why People Don’t Make Money Online

start a business I help people make money online. I prefer helping people wanting to start and run an Internet-based business. Sure, I offer assistance to those chasing “the dream” of fast riches and quick returns with little work. However, my goal is developing a sustainable business I can operate anywhere I have an Internet connection.

The wife and I enjoy travel and spend as much time as possible away from our California home base. Wherever we go I have my laptop along and usually put in a few hours a day working online. It’s easy to do because I enjoy working at my online business. I usually awaken earlier than most and put in a couple of productive hours before others are up and about.  There’s always something to do to advance my business position.

The number one reason many people don’t make money online is they don’t ask for the order.
