The C-19 variant Omicron is affecting a good number of people. Many regions are hit hard. Even those fully vaccinated with booster shots are diagnosed and often hospitalized. My favorite DIY store has 10% of the workforce out for unknown lengths of time.

For many years I’ve included vitamin and mineral supplements as part of my health regimen. When Covid-19 entered our lives I already was taking recommended magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D3. We don’t know as much about this virus and officials would have us believe.

We’re not sure supplements are effective. But many people like me use supplements every day. And they’ve done so for quite a while.  The global mineral supplements market size was valued at USD 10.26 billion in 2018. Here’s a link to a definitive report on global sales. The overall wellness market is huge. Absolutely huge.

Linking your online presence to Covid-19 may effectively reach those not normally users of supplements.

Mask or no mask?

Ah, that is the question. It really doesn’t matter if masks are effective or not. They are mandated. Someone has to sell them. And some are better than others.

What about social distancing? Clean surfaces or not? It seems as if there’s a daily change in how we must adapt. I have a problem with the lack of consistency of messaging. So my route is talking to my primary physician. She knows me and always gives such good advice.

You can provide a public service and earn doing so. Information is king. Valid information is golden. It doesn’t matter if the niche is crowded. You can be unique and capture a share of the market.

Create or purchase an appropriate lead magnet. Build your list around healthcare. There are many avenues to explore. Start with vitamins and mineral supplements. Add weight loss. Overweight people are more likely to get Covid-19 variants than those weighing less.

Be sure to include home exercise equipment. Working out at home is the alternative to closed public gyms. Some locations have banned public use of parks for exercise. Break down healthcare and offer that which is appropriate for combating C-19.

Workouts and equipment are as simple as yoga gear, surgical bands, videos, books, and water bottles. Yes, many people don’t have water bottles. Many don’t have measuring tapes. Or they do not have a workout diary.

Let your imagination run wild. Explore everything related to weight loss and wellness. Link the product to C-19 with quotes from reputable sources. People need information and you can provide it.

Your job is offering information leading to the sale of products.

Give attribution when quoting published material.  It’s as simple as, “I read this morning in the New England Journal of Medicine that ……..” You can even provide a link to that article. Just provide authority information that supports your information.

Be wary of against the grain information. There’s a lot of politics wrapped around Covid-19 and its variants. Many people have hard positions whether vax or not. What works or not. You are a neutral provider of information from valuable resources.

Then you monetize that message. Do not engage in conflict. Be a marketer. Be an honest broker of data. Be the go-to person for solutions to identifiable problems. That is affiliate marketing. Find problems and offer links to solutions.
