Blog TrafficI’m a long time fan of Syed Balkhi and his site WPBegginer.com. That’s where I get most of my WordPress information. Here’s a list of excellent WP plugins that may increase traffic to your site. I use several of them.

The point to remember is a plug in is only as good as how it is used. Although many plugins are of the “set it and forget it” variety, you do need to keep them up to date and do what is necessary to get full benefit.

Too often new users create a blog post, share it once, and then leave it to die in their archive pages.

How to Use this information:

  • Click on each link and learn from the plugin provider if the plugin is for you – meaning to you have a site that warrants installing the plugin?
  • Not all plugins help all sites. My advice is use WP plugins carefully – don’t overload any site with plugins that don’t serve a positive purpose.
  • Keep your site clean and loading faster.
  • Make sure your site provides information of interest to your ideal customer. Just putting stuff “out there” is no guarantee of success. And doing so usually hurts traffic flow. Why subscribe to or visit a site that does not consistently publish information necessary to the ideal customer’s success?
  • Learn what a plug in actually does for you. Check your statistics and measure effectiveness of everything on your site. That is key to successful monetization of your site.
